Pie of the year

Honest, we weren't watching it, but apparently the results of the "Football Pie Of The Year" competition were announced on the Richard and Judy show last week. Kilmarnock were the defending champions and expected their `steak bridie' to retain the title - but it didn't, and general manager Jim McSherry was less than magnanimous in defeat. "One of the judges was wee veggie-head Leo Sayer, so it went to some minor league team in England who had a chicken and mushroom pie," he fumed.
