TnaG (9.01) - Ole Ole. Highlights of Saturday's match between Real Madrid and Barcelona at the Bernebeu Stadium in Madrid, followed by the goals from Rangers v Kilmarnock and Dunfermline v Celtic. BBC1 (10.40) - On Side. This week's studio guests are world heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis and jockey Walter Swinburn. And George Best, Denis Law and Luciano Pavarotti. And there's also a report on Mike Tyson. And we'll see the goals from Sunday and Monday's Premiership matches. How they intend packing all that in to 50 minutes, only they can know.

TOMORROW

NETWORK TWO, BBC1 (8.0) - Live Football: Liverpool v Strasbourg (UEFA Cup, second round, second leg). Three-nil down from the first leg, Liverpool may well score four tonight, but how many will that defence (ably supported by David James) concede?

TnaG (10.30) - All-Ireland Gold Hurling: Limerick v Offaly (1994 All-Ireland Final). Painful viewing for Limerick, but it was one of the great finals. Ger Loughnane and Eamon Cregan might even agree on that one.

WEDNESDAY

NETWORK TWO, UTV (7.30) - Live Football: Feyenoord v Manchester United (Champions' League). Highlights of the rest of the night's Champions' League matches on UTV at 10.55, and there's a full showing of Newcastle v PSV Eindhoven at 2.40 in the morning.

BBC2 (9.50) - The Rugby Club: End of Year Accounts. The final part in the documentary on the goings-on at Bath Rugby Club last season.

THURSDAY

NETWORK TWO (7.40) - Live Football: Chelsea v Tromso (European Cup Winners' Cup, second round, second leg). Everyone felt sorry for Chelsea for having to play in those arctic conditions in the first leg in Norway. But what about Tromso? Just a normal chilly day at the office for them.

BBC1 (10.0) - They Think It's All Over. Nick Hancock and the usual crew - Gary Lineker, David Gower, Rory McGrath and Lee Hurst - return for a new series of the not-so-serious sports quiz. One of tonight's guests, Steve Davis, apparently asked Hancock before the show if this was a "topical quiz". Hancock, in his own lovely way, replied: "If it was topical you wouldn't be on it." Poor Steve.

TnaG (10.30) - All-Ireland Gold Football: Dublin v Down (1994 All-Ireland Final).

FRIDAY

NETWORK TWO (6.05) - The Grip. Profiles of two of Ireland's most promising motor racing drivers, Donegal's Damien Faulkner and Belfast's Johnny Kane.

SKY SPORTS 2 (7.0) - Live Football: Manchester City v Huddersfield (Division One). When football supporters start singling "We're shit and we know we are," you know the team's in trouble. Defeat (or even a draw) tonight against bottom-of-thetable Huddersfield and chairman Francis Lee may need a police escort out of the city.

NETWORK TWO (8.30) - Sideline View. What, if any, are the problems in Gaelic Football? (That the Dubs have won only one All-Ireland this decade?). Des Cahill investigates. Also a chance to see the best goals of the championship.

SATURDAY

NETWORK TWO (9.0) - Live Interna- tional Show Jumping. The Volvo Trophy from Green Glens Arena, Millstreet, Co Cork. CHANNEL 4 (10.0) - Horse Racing: The Breeders' Cup. Live coverage of the Classic (due off at 10.35) and recordings of all the other races from Hollywood Park, California.

SUNDAY

SKY SPORTS 1 (3.0) - Live Football: Arsenal v Man Utd (Premiership). There could be blood everywhere. (Surely this should be on after the 9.0 watershed?).
