AFTER THREE stages of the Tour of Ulster Stephen O'Sullivan, of the Coors Bray team, leads going into the final 81 miles today at Enniskillen. It is very tight at the top as O'Sullivan is just five seconds ahead of Scot Nathan Beard.

David Peelo led the way at the end of the opening stage of 80 miles on Saturday at Fintona. A group of 16 went ahead after 18 miles and, although their advantage stayed at less than a minute for a long way, they pulled away near the end and were over three minutes ahead of the rest.

Approaching the finish Peelo went ahead and held on to win from Keith Bannon, who beat Denis Easton for second place.

In the 5.3 miles time trial yesterday morning at Enniskillen Tommy Evans was fastest with 11:17, three seconds better that Eugene Galbraith, but O'Sullivan was third and he took over the lead by seven seconds from Ian Chivers as Peelo was only 23rd in 12:16 and slipped to eighth.
