Twenty minutes of dynamic rugby, 10 minutes either side of halftime, turned this All-Ireland League Division Two encounter on its head at Lansdowne Road last night.

Wanderers started well and conjured up a third minute try for number eight Bobby Baggot and followed up with an Eric Olazabal penalty in the 16th minute.

But DLSP out-half Dave O'Riordan made Wanderers pay for their poor defence by converting two tries from centre, Mark Cunningham, and replacement wing Conor Cadogan. Also, he kicked a penalty just before the half-time whistle. O'Riordan continued where he left off with a 43rd minute penalty and was on target again after Bruce Wood's try that was the result of straight driving by the forwards. This gave DLSP a 27-8 lead and it was more than enough to hold Wanderers' late rally.
