Christy O' Connor Jnr maintained his strong challenge in the US Seniors Open at Saucon Valley yesterday despite a one-over-par second round 72 which left him on two-under for the tournament.

That was still good enough for a share of 12th place, seven shots behind leader Bruce Fleisher, who added a 69 to his opening 64 to lie on nine-under.
