Catherina McKiernan said yesterday that she has still to decide the date and venue of her next race, following her recovery from a foot injury.
She confirmed that she is now back in full training after missing last month's London Marathon but stressed that no decision has yet been taken on when she will run again.
McKiernan attended a function in Dublin to announce details of Capri-Sun's sponsporship of the BLOE national track and field championships.
This is the fourth year of the sponsorship which caters for 25,000 athletes on an all-Ireland basis. Paying tribute to CapriSun's involvement, Breda Synnott, national chairman of BLOE, said that it made a significant contribution to the on-going success of the championships.
