Still had to go abroad for backs once more, but the steadying hand of experienced imports such as Christian Cullen, the Storeys - Mike and James - Jim Williams and Tom Bowman ought to help steer them through rough waters. Paul Burke looks an ideal capture, and his goal-kicking could swing a few games.
