Mixed message

Athletics Canada has signed a new sponsorship deal with the food supplement company Mannatech which may yet land them in a doping dilemma. Apparently, the use of one product, Mannatech Sport, carries the risk of testing positive for testosterone.

The product contains a number of different ingredients, one of which is bovine testes extract. So while Athletics Canada is happy to welcome the sponsorship on board, they have also issued strong warnings to all their athletes not to use this product. Talk about sending out a mixed-up message.
