Sean McTernan carries Irish hopes into the fourth round of the British Boys' Amateur Open Championship over the Royal Saint David's links at Harlech in North Wales this morning.
The 18-year-old from Co Sligo gave a five-star display to make progress with a 3 and 2 victory over Ross Downie from Morpeth. He now faces England junior international Ben Welch for a place in the last 16 of the tournament.
