Schools RugbySt Columba's College will tackle Mount Temple in the Leinster Schools McMullen Senior Cup final on the back of their 21-3 semi-final replay defeat of St Conleth's College at Kilternan yesterday.

Leinster Schools outhalf Ian McKinley was the standout player, contributing 11 points, to overtake Joe Cronin's penalty for St Conleth's. Fullback Max Shirley and lock Arthur Preston stung St Conleth's with tries.

Left wing Conor Brook-Tyrrell struck for a decisive try to ensure St Andrew's College qualified for the Leinster Schools Senior League final at the expense of King's Hospital 14-5 at Lakelands Park yesterday.

Scrumhalf Andrew Balbirnie kicked three penalties for a 9-0 lead in the first half. Hospital's wing Nicky Darragh then finished a quality move. But the winners kept the ball tight and Brook-Tyrrell had the final say.
