Louth take upper hand

Leinster MFC First Round/ Louth 1-12 Wicklow 1-3:Louth were always in control and ran out nine-point winners in Arklow on Saturday.

Wicklow were still in with a chance at half-time when they trailed by 0-7 to 1-0 - their goal coming from a penalty scored by Paul Cunningham - but Louth's Niall Conlon punched in a goal in the second half to seal Louth's victory.
