Boxing:Irish bantamweight Ryan Lindberg, from the Immaculata club in Belfast, bowed out of the World Championships and Olympic qualifiers after he was stopped on the 20-point rule in the third by Puerto Rican McJoe Arroyo in Chicago yesterday.
Arroyo was always ahead and the fight was stopped in the third, as per rule, when he opened up a 27-7 lead.
Meanwhile, Darren Sutherland meets Armenian Andranik Hakobyan tonight just two fights away from qualifying for next years Olympics in Beijing.
