LEINSTER manager Jim Glennon, coach Ciaran Callan and assistant coach Paul Dean should know this evening whether second row Steve Jameson and full back Ciaran Clarke will be available to travel to Italy next Saturday for the two match tour.

Leinster play Benetton Treviso in Treviso next Sunday and play the Italian Zebras in Genoa on Saturday week.

Jameson and Clarke were yesterday named in the 30 man panel for the tour, but both were injured playing against Sale last Saturday. Jameson damaged a bone in a hand towards the end of the match.

Clarke had to leave the field after 28 minutes because of a knee injury.

Two players who are not available for the tour are wing David Coleman, who played very well for the Leinster A side in the win over Sale second XV and outside half Alan McGowan.

Coleman is ruled because of business commitments and McGowan because of examination commitments.

The Leinster players who will be engaged with the Ireland team to meet Munster on Sunday week, will travel to Limerick from Genoa on Saturday night week to link up with their Ireland colleagues.

There has been a change in the order of the two matches Connacht will play in Sweden next week. Connacht will now meet the Swedish XV in Stockholm on September 3rd and then meet Stockholm Exiles on Saturday 6th September.

. Barry Gibney of Blackrock College will captain the Ireland Schools side which will be attempting to maintain a 100 per cent unbeaten tour record at the Manuka Oval in Canberra tomorrow.

In taking on the full Australian national side in the only Test of the tour, the Irish will be playing their final match Down Under and going for their ninth victory in succession.

Bryn Cunningham from Bangor is the only change from the side that won the Triple Crown against Wales.
