Mayo SFC semi-final/Knockmore 0-10 Charlestown 0-6: Despite a good start which saw them shoot three early points, Charlestown were worn down at McHale Park on Saturday by a gritty Knockmore side who booked their place in the Mayo football final where they will meet the winners of the other semi-final between Ballina, the holders, and Crossmolina to be played next Saturday.

Powered by Kevin Staunton at midfield and the accurate boot of Kevin O'Neill who landed five points, the winners ensured victory by holding Charlestown scoreless for the last 20 minutes of the game.
