Michael Kinane makes the journey to Thurles today and while he can score on Melilotus for John Oxx in the mile and a half maiden, the former champion jockey also looks a significant booking for Swiss Hall in the October Race.

Kinane was on board the John Kiely- trained mare at Navan last month when she finished seven lengths behind one of today's opponents Kerryhead Windfarm in the race won by Bluebyyou. Swiss Hall didn't appear to get the clearest of runs before the straight on that occasion and raced like the outing would do her good.

Melilotus has four lengths to make up on Baron De'l from the same card but the top horse has been expensive to follow and that last start was a step up for the Oxx runner.

Wild Passion reverts to hurdles and gets a valuable 10lb from Strangely Brown while Send Me Home can banish the memory of an expensive loss at Tralee in the second part of the apprentice handicap.
