Quarter-final replay: Killester v Sligo Rovers Joey Graydon, manager of AUL side Killester United, believes his players' dogged showing in Saturday's 0-0 draw at the Showgrounds which earned a replay at Tolka Park tonight has given injury-hit Sligo Rovers plenty of food for thought.

"We may have surprised Sligo and a lot of other people, but I felt we could get a result and that's what we went up for," said Graydon who again selects from the same panel as travelled to the north-west. "We've given them something to think about. We most definitely got their attention. Their manager did his homework, but sometimes it can be hard to get it through to your players that they have to be on their game. I know because it's happened to us as well.

"But I'm sure since Saturday he hasn't had much hassle in doing that and they'll be well focused tonight. All the pressure remains on them, though. They are the Premier Division team and they still hold all the aces."

Sligo's captain Michael McNamara is out with a similar thigh strain that again rules out key striker Darren Mansaram. Liam Burns, McNamara's central defensive partner, is also a major doubt with an ankle injury.

Jamie McKenzie comes into the heart of the defence with Gavin Peers likely to have to move across from right-back with midfielder Chris Turner deputising for him. Paul McTiernan returns to start up front.

"We should still be good enough to win," said Sligo manager Seán Connor. "Maybe they'll come out and try to play a bit more than they did at the Showgrounds which should suit us."

Meanwhile, Shelbourne have confirmed they have lodged an appeal with the FAI in the hope of getting three points from a match they lost to Bohemians in August. The National League yesterday confirmed Bohemians have been deducted three points for playing defender Jason McGuinness in the 2-1 league defeat of leaders Shelbourne on August 18th when he should have been serving a suspension.

While Bohemians said in a statement after they were notified of the league's decision last week they won't be appealing, Shelbourne have demanded they be awarded the three points as they chase a third title in four years.
