Colleges hurling Good Counsel ... 2-16 St Brendan's CS ... 1-13:Good Counsel of Wexford overcame St Brendan's, Birr at Coolderry yesterday after leading at the break by six points. Paudie Keogh landed a second goal 10 minutes into the second half. St Brendan's scored their goal from a free by Eanna Murphy right at the finish.

Ten minutes before the break Michael Maloney goaled for Counsel as they finished the half leading 1-10 to 0-7.

In the other Leinster hurling tie, St Peter's, Wexford beat St Kieran's, Kilkenny by 2-9 to 0-14.
