Kenny won't entertain any thoughts of trebles, yet

FAI Cup: Derry City may be unbeaten in 17 games, second in the league and already through to the final of the National League Cup, but manager Stephen Kenny was, not surprisingly, refusing to listen to any talk of a potential treble after the quarter-final draw for the FAI Cup gave his side a home draw with Shamrock Rovers.

"You get trebles in darts - not football," quipped Kenny.

"Realistically, we are not even going to speak about it; it is so far off the agenda," he added, of a feat achieved by the club under Jim McLaughlin in 1989.

"We have league games with Drogheda, Longford, Bohemians and Shelbourne. They are our next four games. That's as tough as it gets. After those games we'll have a look at things.

"We are drawing big crowds to the Brandywell at the moment and everyone sees the potential at the club and the players have really caught the public's imagination."

Wayside Celtic, the only non-league side left in the draw, got no joy with the prospect of a trip to United Park to play Drogheda United - should they shock Bohemians in tonight's third-round replay at the Carlisle Grounds.

However, Drogheda manager Paul Doolin expects to see Gareth Farrelly's Gypsies facing his side on September 23rd.

"To be fair to Wayside, they've done really well and they got a great result at Dalymount," said Doolin. "But I don't see Bohs slipping up in the replay tonight. Either way, it's a home draw and that's all you can hope for at this stage of the competition."

Bray Wanderers host the winners of tonight's other replay, between UCD and Longford Town. First Division leaders Sligo Rovers got little reward for putting out St Patrick's Atheltic on Sunday - they must travel to Cork City or Finn Harps.

Quarter-final draw

Bray Wanderers v UCD or Longford Town

Drogheda Utd v Wayside Celtic or Bohemenians

Finn Harps or Cork City v Sligo Rovers

Derry City v Shamrock Rovers

Ties to be played week ending September 25th.
