Manchester United suffered an injury scare last night when David Beckham pulled up during their last training session before the final. The United midfielder appeared to injure his right thigh towards the end of last night's hour-long session in Barcelona's Nou Camp stadium.
Beckham walked gingerly to the sidelines holding his leg for treatment. He sat down while United physio David Fevre placed an ice pack on his thigh and took no further part in the session. The seriousness of the injury was not revealed.
Phil Neville also needed treatment for a slight ankle injury, but the England international returned to action soon after.
