Horeswood serve up a final treat

Horeswood 3-9 Castletown 0-11:HORESWOOD served up a marvellous performance to dethrone the 2010 champions at Wexford Park yesterday.

With nine minutes remaining, Castletown capped a second-half recovery to level 1-7 to 0-10.

But Horeswood struck for a crucial goal six minutes from the end. PJ Banville lofted a sideline kick into the goal, which Richard Farrell dropped for David Shannon to shoot the loose ball to the net.
