Padraig Harrington added a second 67 for a half-way total of ten under par 134 but still trailed leader Kenny Perry in the Buick Open at the Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club yesterday.

Perry, a three time PGA Tour winner, celebrated his 41st birthday yesterday shooting an eight-under-par 64 to lead the $1 million Buick Open by three shots at the midway point.

Perry's two-round total of 14-under-par 130 puts him well ahead of a group of three Tour veterans Bob Tway, Jim Furyk and Brett Quigley. His round was propelled by a front-nine score of 29.

Perry, who currently ranks third on the PGA Tour in driving and second in the ball-striking category, has been feeling good about his game since a recent equipment adjustment that has yielded four top 10 finishes in his past seven starts, including an 11th place finish last week at the International.

Furyk, who set the course and tournament record and tied the course records of 62 at Warwick Hills in 1995, shot 64 in the opening round on Thursday, and followed it up with a 69 yesterday.
