Two late goals from Kevin Grogan earned UCD victory in the Colours Match at College Park yesterday.

The Belfield team could have won by a larger margin, with Trinity goalkeeper, Sean Keegan, rescuing his side on more than one occasion.

However, there was a hint of controversy about the UCD's first goal after 80 minutes when Grogan appeared to handle the ball before playing Alan Gallen through. The substitute raced clear but was fouled just outside the penalty area by Trinity full back John Shea who was shown the red card and Grogan curled the free kick around the wall and past Keegan.

Grogan then outpaced the home defence to slot home his second goal.
