Westmeath referee James McGrath will take charge of the All-Ireland Hurling Final replay on September 28th between Clare and Cork.
It will be the second year in a row that the Turin clubman has officiated an All-Ireland replay, having taken charge of last year’s game between Kilkenny and Galway.
Offaly’s Brian Gavin, who took charge of the drawn first encounter between Clare and Cork, has been named as standby referee and will act as sideline official along with Tipperary’s Johnny Ryan. Galway’s Alan Kelly has been named as the sideline official.
