Offaly, for all that they cost Limerick promotion, had a dispiriting league and had to undergo the indignity of two play-offs to preserve Division One B status. Gave a spirited show against Kilkenny last year but that proved more of a commentary on their opponents. Will be stronger with key players’ injuries clearing.


Last good day: Beating Wexford in 2012 for the first time in 12 seasons.
