Sombre season so far with a second successive relegation sending Longford all the way back to Division Four. Jack Sheedy hasn’t been able to field his strongest team although Paul Barden recently returned from injury and there is a promising cohort of under-21s. With home draws against Offaly and if they win, Wexford the semi-finals aren’t impossible.
