Leinster's Owen Finegan could face disciplinary action arising from an incident in the Heineken European Cup match against Edinburgh at Murrayfield last Sunday. The citing commissioner, England's John Byett, reported the Australian for stamping. No date has been fixed for the hearing.

Munster coach Declan Kidney has named an extended squad for Sunday's Magners Celtic League game against Llanelli Scarlets at Stradey Park. He must cope without his international contingent who are in training camp ahead of the South African Test.

The squad will be captained by Mick O'Driscoll and includes the young Shannon hooker Seán Cronin. Aside from the absence of Peter Stringer and Ronan O'Gara, the backline will need little revamping, but there will be wholesale change in the pack. The Scarlets show nine changes from the side that beat Ulster last Friday.
