Galway races:So far Galway 2007 hasn't been as kind to Bolodenka as last year was but Richard Fahey's Yorkshire raider will still attempt to win back-to-back runnings of tomorrow's €150,000 feature on the last day of the festival.

Memories of 2006 when Bolodenka won twice around Ballybrit must have come flooding back to bookmakers on Tuesday night when the horse was heavily backed to win the Tote Galway Mile. They were saved, however, when the horse missed the break and found himself last at halfway.

Fortune doesn't look to have smiled on Bolodenka this weekend either as a draw in stall two is not good over the seven furlongs of the Michael McNamara Builders Handicap.

In the circumstances then it could pay to look elsewhere and seven furlongs on decent ground is the ideal scenario for Excelerate, who won by five lengths on his last start at Cork.

Tony Martin throws punters a quiz in the three-mile handicap hurdle where he runs both Leg Spinner and Aggie's Lad with many sure to be swayed by Ruby Walsh's presence on the latter. Allgrownup though could be a touch of each-way value.

Tai Lass just failed to win here earlier in the week and the extra distance of the €40,000 handicap hurdle will be in her favour against the likes of Green Mile and Hearthstead Dream.

At Cork Age Of Chivalry can go one better in the opening six furlong maiden than his debut when runner-up to Dedo.
