Early morning inspection to decide

Leopardstown Report: Leopardstown has a 7.00 a.m

Leopardstown Report: Leopardstown has a 7.00 a.m. inspection this morning and the meeting could be in serious doubt if the weather forecast is correct.

The Met Office have told Leopardstown they could potentially get an inch of rain overnight and in the morning. "We would be hard pushed to take an inch. We have had so much rain recently and there has been no drying either," said racing manager Tom Burke.

"We have also been told there is a possibility of the rain not clearing until noon which will make it difficult to make a call. But at least it should give us an indication," he added. The first race today is scheduled to be off at 12.25.
