Dublin looked a class act when they knocked Cork out of the All-Ireland Vocational Schools' football championship in the semi-final replay at Nowlan Park yesterday.
The winners, who last won the Leinster championship in 1981 when Mickey Whelan was manager, face Tyrone in the final in Croke Park on Sunday. Early on Michael Lyons and Cork's Sean O'Reagan exchanged points, but once Darren Magee kicked Dublin into the lead in the seventh minute, they led all the way home. At halftime Dublin led 0-10 to 0-4. Cork's position worsened when they conceded early second-half points to Lyons and Stephen Shaughnessy, and Dublin galloped away to an excellent victory.
