Naas CBS4-11 St Benildus1-3:TWO FIRST-half goals from the unrelated Ross and Ronan Doyle helped to propel Naas CBS to victory in their inaugural Leinster SFC A Colleges appearance.

The Kildare school led by 2-6 to 0-1 at the interval and when Ronan Joyce stabbed home from close range straight after the resumption St Benildus' fate was sealed.

The Stillorgan-based outfit got a consolation goal through Fergal Duffy in the second half.

Naas remained undaunted, however, and Ronan Doyle's second goal ensured the scoreline reflected their dominance.
