De La Salle Churchtown's back row were the dominant force against Presentation College Bray yesterday.
Led by Brian Byrne at number eight wing forward Eoin McGuinness and Cathal Stritch they tied up the Presentation attacks.
But it fell to loose head prop Eoin O'Hara to score the only try of the match, from a scrum close to the line when the ball was initially carried forward by Byrne. Out-half Daniel Cook converted.
Despite some good runs from the Presentation backs De La Salle forwards maintained their domination for the rest of the game which was scoreless thereafter.
