Last night's National League Premier Division match between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers was delayed for 25 minutes as fighting between groups of rival fans spilled out onto the pitch.
Although there were no reported injuries, Garda sources confirmed they had made "a couple of arrests" for public disorder offences.
