Dorans Pride, who made his seasonal debut over fences at last week's Listowel festival, switches to the Flat at the Curragh on Saturday when he runs in the £40,000 Ladbrokes Irish Cesarewitch.

The 10-year-old's trainer Michael Hourigan said yesterday: "Dorans Pride is a definite runner and Timmy Houlihan will ride."

Another dual performer, Space Trucker, winner of the Grand Annual Chase at Cheltenham last March, is set to take him on despite the prospects of unsuitable soft ground.

" I need to give Space Trucker a race and so there is every chance he will run on Saturday, but I don't yet know who will ride him," said trainer Jessica Harrington.

The Irish Horseracing Authority are to abolish stakeholders' fees on all Flat races, apart from Group races, from tomorrow. The fees were deducted at the rate of 3 per cent from prize money for non-Group Flat races and the savings to owners in a full year are expected to be in excess of £400,000.

Trainer Tony Martin confirmed yesterday that She's Our Mare will challenge for the Tote Cambridgeshire at Newmarket on Saturday.

Martin said: "My only problem is finding a jockey. All the good lads appear to be booked up."

The six-year-old won the Swinton Hurdle at Haydock Park in May and scored over a mile at the Curragh last time out after a photo finish.

Martin added: "It was soft that day but she will run better on drier ground. The distance of the Cambridgeshire (10 furlongs) is just right for her and I'm hoping for a big run."
