The injury worries which seemed likely to undermine Cork's championship challenge prior to Sunday's Munster final win over Kerry may well have cleared up for their All-Ireland semi-final.

Michael O'Donovan, who broke his collar bone in a challenge game against Sligo before the team's facile win over Limerick, will shortly come back into the reckoning while Aidan Dorgan, who suffered a groin injury in the build up to the final against Kerry, will also recover in time.

Full forward Damien O'Neill was forced to retire in the first half against Limerick, but it is anticipated that his trouble with stomach muscles will also have disappeared by the August 22nd date, when Cork face Mayo.

Liam Honohhan remains on the injury list. He has played club football since wrenching ankle ligaments in the play-off stages of the league, but has failed to rid himself completely of the injury. He will continue to undergo treatment.
