Coghlan to lead Ireland

NEWS:FIONA COGHLAN will captain the Ireland squad for the upcoming FIRA Women's European Championship. The Leinster prop takes over from the injured Sarahjane Belton.

Caretaker coach Simon Broughton has named a familiar squad but will fill the two remaining places after a final training session this weekend.

Ireland will play three games in the eight-team, 10-day tournament in Amsterdam next month. Ireland fly out on May 16th to prepare for their opening game against Spain and they return on May 25th.
