St Margaret's Golf and Country Club is the venue for the inaugural James Connolly Memorial Hospital Diabetes Fund Golf Classic on Thursday May 10th. The idea behind the event is to raise much needed finance to enhance the existing services at the hospital for patients with diabetes and also to support research activities into this increasingly common disease.
Those interested in taking part in what it is hoped will become an annual event should make contact with the Diabetes Day Centre on (01) 8213844 extension 5584 (during office hours) or Kathryn Walley on 046-25075. Entries close on Friday March 2nd.
