There is a vacancy left at full forward in the Dublin team to face Kildare in Saturday's Leinster football final replay at Croke Park.

With Ian Robertson ruled out of the position he held for the drawn match because of a foot injury, manager Tom Carr will wait as long as possible before deciding who will gain the starting place. Vinnie Murphy replaced the injured Robertson after 18 minutes of the drawn match last Sunday week and is the most likely candidate. Otherwise, it is expected that Declan Darcy will make his return from an Achilles tendon injury that has greatly limited his participation this season.

Kilkenny will line out with the same team that defeated Offaly in the Leinster final for Sunday's meeting with Galway in the second All-Ireland hurling semi-final.

There were some minor injury worries for Peter Barry (finger) and Henry Shefflin (shoulder), but both players came through last night's training session.
