Captain fantastic

Former Scottish and Lions scrum-half Andy Nicol knows the requirements for winning the European Cup, having captained Bath to victory over Brive (19-18) in the Stade Lescure, Bordeaux, in the 1998 final. Nicol has now returned to Scotland and will captain Glasgow Caledonians in this season's competition. They find themselves in Pool A alongside Stade Francais, Leicester and Leinster.
