You might have read last week of the Italian police's busting of a "sex ring" that provided prostitutes through an internet web site and their revelation that several players from a "top Milanbased soccer club" were involved. At first Inter Milan denied their lads were involved but then coach Marco Tardelli and vice-president Peppino Prisco admitted that, indeed, they were.

"Surely it's better to have a red-light party than one with AC Milan," chuckled Prisco. "Anyway, it is better to go out with girls than some other things I could mention," he added (but refused to mention the "other things"). Our favourite bit, though, was when Marco started talking a bit, em, loose.

"They were so stupid, they got caught," he giggled. "Compliments to those who didn't get caught. I never got caught." Marco? Doh.
