LEAGUE OF IRELAND PREMIER DIVISION Bray Wanderers 3 Cork City 2:FORMER CORK player Dave Mulcahy scored the winner, deep in stoppage time, as bottom-of-the-table Bray staged a remarkable comeback to earn a win at the Carlisle Grounds last night.

Cork looked to be cruising at 2-0 with 11 minutes to play when Bray won a penalty after City defender Danny Murphy was sent off for deliberate handball. Jake Kelly blasted home the spot-kick.

Bray pressed for an equaliser and got it on 86 minutes when Mulcahy headed to the net from close range. Laying siege on the City goal, Bray chased a winner and got it in the fifth minute of added time. A throw from Dave Webster wasn’t defended well and it fell to Mulcahy who volleyed past Dan Connor.

Cork took the game to Bray and their pressure paid off from their seventh corner of the half on 41 minutes. Fahrudin Kuduzovic flicked on Dennehy’s delivery and captain Dan Murray headed home from two yards. Cork’s second goal came seven minutes into the second half when referee Tom Connolly awarded a penalty after Guntars Silagailis was fouled by defender Dave Webster. Kuduzovic scored from the spot.
