Barry aids Monkstown

 

LEINSTER SCHOOLS JUNIOR CUP: CBC Monkstown 13 Castleknock College 3:The sharp finishing of left wing Cillian Barry was all that separated these two fine sides at Templeville Road yesterday.

A twisting cross-field kick from Dan Casey was picked up on the hop by Barry for a try entirely against the run of play for a 5-0 lead in the 16th minute before a Mark Boucher penalty made it 5-3 in the 34th minute.

Casey replied with a penalty on 38 minutes before Barry got his second try three minute into injury-time.
