The RTB found against the landlord from Luxembourg - but awards to former tenants have gone unpaid

Salvador Chávez Morales complained about a camera trained on the kitchen of his Dublin rental, part of the property business of controversial Luxembourg landlord Marc Godart.

The computer engineer from Mexico was soon evicted for complaining.

And a whistleblower who works for Godart, managing his extensive rental portfolio, confirms Morales’ story and gives insights into how the controversial landlord operates.

Despite former tenants successfully taking cases against Mr Godart at the Residential Tenancies Board and winning damages, some report they have never been paid.
