Sir, - Michael O'Keefe, Chief Executive of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (October 28th), writes approvingly of the commission's efforts at public consultation.
Before he writes again he might respond to the request issued last March by Dublin City Council to the commission to engage in a discussion on the future of broadcasting in the Dublin region. Sadly it now appears that both RT╔ and the supposed alternative view real public consultation as something to be written about but not engaged in. - Yours, etc.,
