Madam, - Some reports concerning Wicklow County Council's decision earlier this month to remove "access routes" from its county development plan have been misunderstood by many walkers to mean that these routes are all closed to the public.
This is incorrect; they are just as open as they were before the council included them in its draft plan last year.
