Madam, - Has The Irish Timespublished an issue in the past three months without the use of the word "iconic" - or even the tautology "iconic images"?
I've been back in Ireland only a few months and the bizarre usage of the i-word is driving me bananas. (I'd be tempted to go back to France, but the French use the English word "people" as an adjective to say much the same vague thing.) - Yours, etc,
