Sir, – In their letter (December 17th) on minimum unit pricing for alcohol, Senator Jillian van Turnhout and others confirm that there will be no effect on those of us who drink in pubs and restaurants, or who already pay more than the proposed minimum on our wine, beer, and spirits. So why not just call this what it is, a tax on the poor? – Yours, etc,
