Sir, – Having given the issue of a new name for the soon-to-be-defunct HSE some considerable thought, I have arrived at the conclusion that an appropriate monicker might be HYDRA, in honour of the mythological nine-headed monster.
I am taking the liberty of including Hiqa and PCRS among the heads along with the seven proposed “sectors”. The relevant logo would be easy to visualise and would certainly be eye-catching. It is to be earnestly hoped that the legendary venom of the creature does not continue to be a salient feature. – Yours, etc,
