Madam, – Does every three- letter acronym in this country spell trouble? On return from the UK this Easter I had the NRA to contend with. Depart ferry. Follow signs for no tolls – hit the East Link. They take cards, but not at the window – pull in, jump out, laser transaction and away. M6 toll 1 – does not take laser – accepts Visa debit. M6 toll 2 – does not take Visa debit – accepts Mastercard. New Limerick Tunnel toll – does not accept cards at all. My wife rummages in her bag – they accept €1.50.
I owe the State some 30c – the NRA owes me some consistency. – Yours, etc,
