Sir, - I see the Strand road in Sandymount has broken out in the dreaded traffic lights and roundabouts rash. I think the DTO has missed on a few junctions on the Merrion Road where one could put roundabouts, and sure while they are at it, why not try a few semi-permanent ones on the Stillorgan Road? Will this madness stop when the price of bricks and traffic lights goes up, or when all the roads in the city are covered in bricks? The DTO is trying its best, I am sure, but I have yet to meet anybody who understands what the whole idea is. - Yours, etc.,
