Sir, - Obviously planning permission was not required when Sorrento Terrace was built on a rocky promontory overlooking Killiney Bay with the most wonderful vista in the land. There would be outrage today at such desecration. This incongruous, featureless block, backing on to the bay, is a monstrosity, second to none. "Eyesorento Terrace" only partially describes it. - Yours, etc.,
